Teacher burnout was a poor condition in emotion, attitude andbehavioral exhaustion when modern people adapted society. Recently, toadapt advanced technology, rapid rhythm and much competition, vocationaleducation bore great stress brought by educational system .During periodof accepting challenge and learning adaptation ,the development ofvocational education fell into temporary predicament . Facing changededucational object and situation, vocational school teachers full ofstress, setback and burnout, which not only influenced teachers' mentalhealth and stability of teacher stuff, but also affected students'growth and quality of graduates that vocational schools are to cultivate.Therefore, this paper was a new task for teachers' construction andimprovement of teachers' quality in vocational schools.It drew lessons from abroad and home about causes, feature,counter-measures of teacher burnout, objects were 280 teachers ofvocational schools in part of provinces and cities, took method ofdocumentary, investigation and statistical analyze. Research found thatteacher burnout especially showed: lack of achievement, low emotion, taska perfunctory attitude towards job, violently resign desire. etc.teacher burnout related distinctively with teachers' mental health. Themain causes of making teacher burnout in vocational school teachers were:poor students' quality, low teachers' society role, job pluralisticand role conflict, leaden lack of bringing forth new ideas and imperfectadministration system. etc. Based on this, the paper joined together withcharacteristics of vocational education and current situation,historical role in society of vocational school and roles and jobcharacteristics of vocational school teachers brought somecounter-measure of overcoming burnout from renew new ideas of vocationaleducation, create good administrative situation, improve teachers'adaptability, etc. it brought substantial evidence for construction ofvocational school teachers.
