More and more domestic and international datas indicate that the teaching profession has been one of the occupations which under the largest pressure. If teachers couldn't work smoothly and theycouldn't control the work pressure or release it effectively, they will generate the Burnout. Burnout not only destroy the physical and mental health of teachers, and affect the performance and the development prospects of personal career of teachers, it also impact the social recognition and support on education. At the same time, burnouthave some negative impact on the healthy development of the students . Therefore, the teacher burnout and mental health research is of great significance. This paper investigates Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers' job burnout and psychological state of health to provide certain datas to Jingzhou education administration and school administrators and scientific reference points to the harmonious development of Jingzhou education and teachers'healthy life and active work.This study mainly adopted the questionnaire survey and interview method, and investigated 325 rural teachers in Jingzhou effectively. The tools are MBI teacher occupational burnout scale and SCL90 mental health symptom checklist.The results show that:1. There were significant differences in Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers in the three dimensions of burnout. Satisfaction was significantly higher than that emotional exhaustion.2. Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers at different age, different seniority, different qualifications and whether the class teacher don't have significant impact on emotional exhaustion, disintegration of personality, a sense of achievement, career burnout.3. There were significant differences between Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers with different titlers in the disintegration of personality; there SCLwere significant differences between teachers at different schools and different workload in emotional exhaustion and burnout; there were significant differences in emotional exhaustion, the disintegration of personality, a sense of achievement, career burnout between teachers with the administrative duties or not.4. Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers have the highest score on OCD but the lowest score on terror symptoms.5.There weren't significant differences in SCL90 and its various dimensions.between Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers at different age groups and whether the class teacher6. there were significant differences in somatization and hostilities factors;between Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers at different seniority there were significant difference in hostilities factor between teachers at different titles ; there were very significant differences in somatization, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, depression and SCL90 scores between teachers at Different schools and different workload, ; there was significant difference in the anxiety factor; there were significant differences in somatization, depression, anxiety, hostility and 90 scores between teachers whether in administrative positions.7. There was significant correlation between Jingzhou rural secondary school teachers, occupational burnout and SCL90.At last, the paper proposed some suggestions on how to prevent and alleviation teachers' burnout and mental health problem on the basis of investigation.
