Return Of Virtue

In the development of American school moral education in the late 20th century, the most impressive phenomenon is the return and prosperity of traditional moral education, which takes particular nuclear value and virtue as its contents, takes such traditional morality method of training as the application of demonstration, practice and literature, etc, as its main method, and takes the cultivation of the students' virtue and the improvement of the social virtue as its objective. This thesis analyzes the American classic and modern moral education by means of documental study, comparative study and phenomenal study. The purpose of this thesis is by way of the study of its theory and practice, to probe into such problems as the nature, the feature and the modern value of the traditional moral education, and to draw inspiration for our country's present and future moral education.
