In traditional Chinese culture, moral education has been at the core of. In China more than five thousand years of history, whether in the feudal society, or in today’s society, Chinese traditional moral thoughts are deeply influenced people’s thought and life. Chinese traditional morality is the essence of Chinese civilization. She is after thousands of years of culture, is the Chinese gradually formed in practice with Chinese characteristics and moral tradition, and restrict and regulate people’s thought and behavior.Middle school students are the future and hope of the motherland, shoulder the heavy responsibility of building the motherland. Can be said that everything we do is to lay the foundation for their future, countries will rely on students to build. Therefore, the moral education of the middle school students is particularly important. In the traditional Chinese education, moral education has been at the core of moral education, is the main purpose of all social activities. In the current moral situation of the students of China, is a tremendous contrast with traditional moral spirit, this kind of phenomenon makes us to reflect on the current problems in moral education. There are many reasons caused this phenomenon, the most important reason, is in the current moral education, the deficiency of traditional moral education theory, especially in the cultivation of students’ time to indulge in the pursuit of" intellectual ", but ignore the importance of" moral education ". It must strengthen the students " moral education " in education, must strengthen the students in the traditional moral education efforts, on the one hand can enhance the moral level and personal accomplishment, on the other hand also can better will inherit the excellent Chinese traditional moral culture and development. In the moral education of middle school, it needs to draw on the excellent part of traditional moral education, in order to achieve a multiplier effect.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is mainly about the content and characteristics of Chinese traditional moral education, and the inheritance of Chinese traditional moral education and use for reference. The traditional moral education consists of social morality, family ethics and personal accomplishment of these three aspects. Chinese traditional moral education is characterized by the spirit," benevolence ", advocated by the ethic value, the pursuit of high spiritual realm, emphasis on the cultivation of personality of five aspects; and inheriting Chinese traditional moral education and the fine tradition of the Chinese traditional moral education and modern vitality to discuss.The status quo and the causes of the content of the second part about middle school students’ moral education. The current high school students moral status from " utilitarianism "," hedonism "," blundering gas pop "," not ideal"," lack of sense of responsibility " five aspects; the cause of the present situation of moral education in middle school students are divided into three aspects:the first reason is that the existing problems in current moral education, second the reason is the existence of the family moral education, the third reason is the impact of western culture on the traditional moral culture, the fourth reason is the traditional moral culture itself.The content of the third part is to strengthen the basic ideas of the traditional moral education of middle school students. According to the existence of moral education in the second part of the question, the strengthening of the students in the traditional moral education should follow the principles, namely:principles, socialist legal norms and the principle of coordination, and the traditional Chinese virtues principles to fit in with the socialist market economy, and from six aspects, the content of moral education, actual effect methods, evaluation, education, education environment to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.
