Composition teaching is an essential part in Chinese teaching in middle school and also a long-standing problem for most of the Chinese teachers. The psychological research of traditional writing teaching, which is often from the perspective of writing motives, interests and ideation, is in the purpose of improving students' writing skill, however, it makes little effect. Nevertheless, he American psychologist Bandura's theory of self-efficiency, which starts with self-efficiency, states in a special way and explores a new research field for our composition teaching. The perceived self-efficacy is the sky conception which is put forward by Bandura in his social study theory. It refers to one's conviction, judgement, self-assurance and experience on how well he can finish an activity before he takes action. It not only affects people's action choice, determines people's effort extent and insistence, but also influences people's thinking pattern and sensibility reaction way, affects the relationship between each other and the personality-building. As a complicated perceivable task and sensibility activity, writing process must be affected by self-efficacy mechanism. Students who have writing ability will be more interested in it and be more confident, so they are more likely to try their best and accomplish the task better while those students who are doubtful about themselves may feel terrified about composition. So, paying much attention to the exploitation of students' self-efficiency during the writing teaching, and improving students' sense of self-efficacy willdo good to our writing-teaching reform, and improve the students' writing skill. This thesis tends to discuss the questions about students' self-efficacy, mainly according to Bandura's self-efficacy and combining psychological, educational, and philosophical theories. This thesis consists of introduction, text and conclusion. The text is divided into four parts. The introduction mainly briefly analyses the origin and interrelated writing of the cultivation of composition perceived self-efficacy.The text first summarizes the keystone of Bandura's self-efficacy and other interrelated theoretical foundations;Second, it analyses the efficiency of perceived self-efficacy for writing and the survey about present self-efficacy of composition;Third, it discusses the cultivation strategies of students' self-efficacy, as well as their measurement and evaluation;Fourth, it explains the edification and thinking of the research on composition perceived self-efficacy from the teaching introspection perspectives. The conclusion discusses the possible far-reaching effect of improving composition perceived self-efficacy from the need of social development and the development of individual students.
