Learning is the basic life style for students, and also the main way for their development. Efficient education should focus on bettering students' learning approaches that are key to the curriculum reform. Researching the reform of learning approaches is meaningful in comprehending learning approach, staying in the correct way of reform, and developing students.In the first part, the paper probes the meaning of learning approaches. It suggests that learning approach is the type and the way of learning, which is adopted according to learning subjects, learning contents, and the characteristics of students.In the second part, the paper researches the trend of learning approaches. It argues that learning approach should not be confined to one single or several kinds of approaches, but should be comprehensive.In the third part, the paper points that choosing learning approaches is the core of its reform. Additionally, the part deals with the relationship between several groups of learning approaches, such as individual learning and group learning, accepting learning and probing learning, automatic learning and dominated learning, mechanical learning and meaningful learning, etc.In the forth part, the paper probes the difficulties of learning approaches, describing its conditions and analyzing its causes in terms of evaluation, thoughts, and culture.In the fifth part, the paper probes the strategies of the reform from three aspects, namely teachers' concepts, system of evaluation, and school culture.
