The teaching cases of geography refers to the typical cases which can explain and illustrate the geographic theories and methods. Guided by the new curriculum theory, teaching theory, modern study theory, and some other related scientific theories, this essay is based on the teaching research in Hubei province. The development strategies have been put forward and also be tested in practice. The essay mainly includes four parts: the general introduction of geography ^ the theory and the principles> the developing strategies and the experiments.In the first part the contents of the geography have been defined. Viewed from two angles, the importance is analyzed. It also evaluates the development of teaching examples from three sides including the development channels, the development contents, and the development main body.The second part is "related theoretic basis and the development principles." It is necessary and important to develop the teaching examples. We should work under the guidance of the modern study theory to explore the system and under the guidance of system to explore a series of modern geographic construction. The main principles are: geographic principle, participating principle, teaching principle and practical principleThe third part is focused on the strategies which are deployed in the research. As is mentioned above, the four principles have laid a solid foundation, and thus put forward several new ideas, for example, to have a good knowledge of development is the basic preparation;to know the specific purpose is the necessity;to know the channels is the important means;to master the approaches is the grantee;to make use of and develop resources is the key. A construction model is built as a result of the main body, the channels, the methods and the procedures.The fourth part deals with the teaching experiments. The construction model is used to do some experiments. The experiments are made to be tested on the design, the procedures results and reflection.In the end, a conclusion is drawn that it is necessary and meaningful to do this kind of research. In the summary the limitation of the research is also pointed out .Where the research is going to lead us and where the key is have been discussed too.
