The Communist Party of China put forward the Marine potestatem in the 18 th National Congress,and the country attaches importance to the development of ocean economy and the protection of ocean rights and interests.The geography curriculum has undergone a new round of reform,and the new curriculum reform reflects that the state attaches more importance to marine education.The required part of the geography textbook increases the content of marine geography education,and the Marine potestatem is compiled into the geography textbook,aiming to improve secondary school students’ knowledge of China’s marine rights and interests and the sovereignty of marine territories.As a coastal region,Guangxi has a superior coastal environment and rich marine resources,so it is especially important to improve secondary school students’ understanding of their hometown ocean and raise their awareness of marine ecological protection.Meanwhile,in the new curriculum reform,geography curriculum standards advocate geography teachers to use geography agrestic materials in teaching and combine geography around students,which is conducive to cultivating students’ home country feelings.Based on understanding the geography curriculum standard(2017)and the new curriculum reform stage Marine geographic content change and Marine education situation,on the basis of hunan in 2019 includes a compulsory one geography textbook,for example,on the basis of life education theory,constructivism learning theory and sustainable development theory,the literature material law,local case law,questionnaire survey,This paper studies the teaching design and application of Marine geography in senior high school based on local cases.Of guangxi beibu gulf coastal local material and geography textbook combing integrated Marine geographic content,as well as the analysis of geography curriculum standard and teaching material contents to study,and aiming at training students’ core geographic literacy,selection of hunan includes a compulsory one coastal landscape and the ocean and the human for lesson are studied based on the local case of teaching practice.Through theoretical and practical researches,the following conclusions were obtained.(1)to coordinate,the cultivation of comprehensive thinking ability didn’t dig deep in the ocean geography teaching,attaches great importance to the Marine nature of geography teachers mostly the interpretation of the basic knowledge and teaching,more attention to the geographical objects rule of procedural knowledge teaching,narrative knowledge about the relation between ocean and human value degree is low,most lets the student to learn to understand,Less extensive geographical cases inspire students to think about environmental issues.Geography teachers’ integration of Marine local materials is not comprehensive and local cases are not targeted.(2)Guangxi Marine local cases can promote the formation of students’ human-place coordination view,regional cognition and comprehensive thinking ability.It is feasible to collect integrated Marine local materials and apply the Marine local cases to compulsory Marine geography teaching.(3)Combined with the teaching practice,this study puts forward the teaching design strategy of Marine geography based on local cases,including: refining the Marine local materials,constructing the local case teaching of Marine geography;Create the Marine local situation,stimulate the students to hometown crowd emotion;Scientific setting problems,attention to the relationship between the sea;Carry out research activities to understand the relationship between people and improve Marine literacy;Establish an evaluation system oriented to the implementation of geographic core literacy.(4)The application of local cases in the teaching of Marine geography can solve the difficulties faced by the teaching of Marine geography in the actual teaching,and promote students to better understand the ocean and improve their Marine literacy in the teaching.It can help students understand the coastal and Marine environment of their hometown,enhance students’ emotion to the ocean,effectively improve students’ Marine literacy,effectively train students’ view of human-land coordination,and facilitate the cultivation of geographical core literacy.
