Moral self is a concept which indicates how an individual takes the reins of the state of his morality, and it is also an individual 's self-awareness about his morality. Moral self has three main functions, viz acting as the channel of information, subduing or making factors orderly, impulsing an individual take action. The function of moral self acting as the channel of information meals that all information about an individual's morality must let moral self check up before it becomes useful information to him. The function of moral self subduing or making factors orderly meals that moral self can turn ataxic factors into a system. The function of moral self impulsing an individual take action meals that moral self can affect what an individual does.Making these three main functions effective and proper is useful for a healthy moral self, but if the functions of a undergraduate' moral self run in a dissimilar way, his moral self may get into a pretty pass, which let it lose motivity of development. The incline of self-support, which meals an individual skips over, distorts or chooses information purposely in order to gain other people's admiration or balance his heart, is a dissimilation to the function of acting as the channel of information. The incline of being close to outskirts, which meals an individual's kinds of moral personality become disordered, is a dissimilation to the function of subduing or making factors orderly. The incline of self-hobbling, which meals debasing his or other people' moral expectation through brickbat, is a dissimilation to the function of impulsing an individual take action.To boost moral self develop in a healthy way effective, we should make the three main functions run reasonably. Firstly, we should understand rules of undergraduates' moral mentality, which is the base of clear up dissimilation. Secondly, build up a new concept that undergraduates can set up scientific and reasonable systems for moral personality. Thirdly, excavate fully moral self's self-education in order to make they become main body for moral education. Fourthly, bring moral practice into play through regarding it a useful support. Fifthly, perfect the evaluation system for undergraduates' morality.
