Research On Selecting Children Speed Skating Athletes

Talents selecting is one of the important topics on modern athletic training research. In view of the whole process of an athlete's growth, the first link is candidates selecting, for a good beginning is half done. It becomes especially important today when world skating is developing by leaps and bounds, in addition, the distance of sports training level and facilities are narrower among countries. Scientific selecting plays an increasingly important role, while selecting by experience can not catch up with the trend of rapid development of world sports field.Starting from the basic theory of talents selecting, on the basis of speed skating rule, this paper offers detailed argument on the fundamental principles, constant indexes, indexes analysis and assessment, draws a relevant conclusion and put forward some suggestions.Scientific talents selecting is scientific testing. In other words, those who are born with aptitude for a specific sport are selected to be fostered on purpose. Research on it has won world focus and has arrived at relative extensity and intensity. Despite our country's late work on it, we are making fast progress and have obtained great achievement. Its theory includes three factors: basic theory, specific speed skating theory, and talents selecting test. Starting from athletic aptitude genetics, physiology and athletic training, test indexes are decided according to the principles of comprehension, representative, science and feasibility.To select speed skating athletes, the first step is concluding and summarizing the practical experience according to the characteristics of speed skating, objective rules of human growth, as well as basic theories. That process reflects the common rule of scientific selecting of speed skating athletes and plays an important role of guidance. The principles of variety, complementary and dynamic characteristics should be followed in practical work.Next, this paper elaborately analyzes the decided testing indexes using the five constant indexes (shape, quality, function, psychology, and specific result index), combining with selecting patterns from the view of genetics and training study.In light of the development of speed skating, the stress is ought to be put on researching and developing testing programs and indexes in the future, which can reveal the characteristics of athletes.Recent athletics has outstripped pure competition of athletic technology and strategy. In this era of intensive competition, sole advantage of quality is already not adaptable to modern PE competition.
