With the implementing of the new curriculum reform, English curriculum reform as animportant part has been in a new period .so what happens in the English class, especially inthe teaching goals , teaching mode, and learning method .we want to know this and to findsome problems existing in the English class ,finally we analyze the reason and try to offersome suggestions .I used the method of qualitative research, chosen a common middle school as my casestudy. I observe the class for nearly three months , focusing on how the English teachersinstruct English .and if we have questions ,I interviewed the teachers, from whom I knowlot of .The dissertation is composed of five parts : Part one : The subject ,method and partnersof my research are introduced simply . Part two: the basic theory is related to my paper . Partthree: the current of English class including the success and some failure . Part four : weanalyze why still exists such problems . Part five : according to the analysis ,we offer somesuggestions on improving the English class.
