At present, China education adheres to the guiding principle of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's important thought that"Education is oriented to modernization, the world and the future"and of Comrade Jiang Zemin's"Three Represents Theory". In the new century, it is an urgent research problem in what way to carry out the Party's education policy and to construct junior middle school Chinese textbook with Chinese characteristics. There are two aspects in terms of connotation of junior middle school Chinese textbook with distinct national characteristics. The first is the distinctive Han culture appearing in the junior middle school Chinese textbook for achieving modernization. The second is the distinctive national patterns adopted in the junior middle school Chinese textbook for achieving modernization. China elementary education oriented to the world needs the national construction of junior middle school Chinese textbook. The national construction is not only restricted by Chinese fundamental national conditions, but the objective need of Han specific properties. It is the need for spreading and carrying forward the excellent national cultural traditions, and what's more it is the need for cultivating citizen's national feeling, for inspiring national spirit. There are follow three questions in Junior school Chinese language textbooks of People's Education Press 2001 edition: First, it should be emphasized that there is a core of nationalization in Chinese textbook selected works. Secondly, there is a distance between the training of oral communication ability and han language features. Thirdly, the training contents have been displayed more than the skills of embodying Han language features in writing. We get the enlightenment from the history evolution of value orientation of Chinese textbook selected works of junior middle school. First, the value orientation of Chinese textbook selected works should be considered for national construction of junior middle school Chinese textbook. The selected works should manifest the profound refined cultural implications of national traditions and especially concentrate on nation's excellent"traditional culture"with the confucianists'classical culture as its core. Second, skill training should include consummate"China Gongfu". The training of oral communication ability not only need the training content, but need practice skill embodying Han language features, such as breathing pronunciation, rhythm etc. For giving full play to Han Chinese merit and training students to have exquisite and communication skill with distinctive national characteristics. Good powers of observation need to be training in writing. Various organs– visual sense, sense of hearing, smell, touch and taste– are employed for stereoscopic creation to show articles'imaginary beauty. Third, emotional experience should exert an edifying influence on students'sincere"Huaxia Feeling", which benefit students'spreading and carrying forward national spirit which constantly strived for self perfection, the cultivation of students'genuine patriotism and the training of students'etiquette and honest quality.
