This dissertation focuses on the growth problems of descendants in disadvantaged group in colleges, based on and unlimited sociology of education, to reveal the profound system of why descendants in disadvantaged group have been the disadvantaged group in the process of college students'growth. The typical practical research of"Problems, reasons and countermeasures"is the author's analysis method. This dissertation is composed as following:Chapter One, Forward. This part introduces the research value, basic conceptions and hypotheses, current standpoints and view of problems, research methods and creativities specifically.Chapter Two, Problems: alternation of theories and practices. The author deconstructed the problems by using five sociological theories. The author thinks that the"developmental difficult position"of the descendants of disadvantaged group in colleges is the embodiment of the loss of social norm. The conflicts between the descendants of disadvantaged group and advantaged group make this problem complicated. Post modernism theories and critical theories can just offer one angle of solving this problem, they are not proper to be used to explain the practice. The growth problem of the descendants of the disadvantaged group is certainly a problem, and it is a problem of accumulation. The author then analyzes the problem step by step from the angle of ethnomethodology. The author summarizes the state and process of their growth, and wants to reflect their worries during this process.Part Three, Reasons: symphony of outer and inner reasons. This part discusses the outer reasons of why descendants in disadvantaged group become the disadvantaged group from costs, cultural factors and institutions. The author thinks that the three costs during their growth– general costs, chances and trading costs– are heavy burdens for them."Logic of women"in cultural factors makes the college management lack of democracy. The education the students receive cannot pace with times. Colleges don't perform their duties fully, that makes the complaints which relate to the disadvantage group's legitimate interest cannot be dealt with properly. The defects of designed system makes the right-takers escape from the duties they should take. Meanwhile, the inner reasons are also raised by the author from the angle of social psychology. This is to reflect their stepping out from their ideals, giving up certain"roles", and their"soul journey"during this process.Part Four, Countermeasures: harmony of the current and the ultimate. This part discusses the current policies of perfect growth for descendants in disadvantaged group from the potential of moral and polities curricula, system of major tutors and students'clubs and then expounds the ultimate focuses of policies from the aim to justice, the pursuit of life and the trend of communication. These three policies are the highest level of educational ideals, and there will be a long time to go to make them effective.End words. This part answers the additional asks for"what descendants in disadvantaged group should do"from philosophy of education.
