The existence of the disadvantaged group of teachers is an objective fact and is also a problem to be solved. Researching the disadvantaged group of teachers is a vital breach to practice quality-oriented education. Currently, teachers are the central power in the education innovation, but their morale and images have experienced severe crises in the fierce competing schools. They are bearing the pressure from students and parents in the bottom and the pressure from administrators on the top. They're always thinking they're the victim of people's complaints. Such situation makes them suffered a lot, so it's the responsibility of us educational researchers to take the research about them.In this paper, we don't think"the disadvantaged group of teachers"is a group in real sense, it is only an ideal type concept based on fair idea in need of study. The disadvantaged group of teachers is a particular teacher group whose material and spiritual living quality are relatively low. They have difficulties in further development and should be paid attention to, for the lack of social resources such as economic benefit, right, and the opportunity to develop their ability. The group are hidden, multiple, relative and can be transformed. The paper based on relativity has induced four types of the group according to the investigation in Tong-Xin national middle school: common teachers compared to leader ones, new teachers compared to skilled ones, secondary-subject teachers compared to main-subject teachers, strangers compared to local teachers. The paper has analyzed the bad situation of all types and concluded that the buffet of the system innovation, the right conflicts from the internal school field, the friction of multi-culture and the factors from teachers themselves are the reasons why the group has formed.To research the group is not to criticize simply and rudely. it is based on a concerned spirit and an ideal to offer feasible help. We think it is a complicated system project to solve the problem of the disadvantaged group of teachers. It cannot be solved in one day; it needs the transformation of society and school and needs us to participate in, to make efforts and to cultivate all together.
