Comment on students is the core of judgment on school education, and is the comment on students' studying evolvement and on the behavior change. Its ultimate motive is to promote students to make progress forwardly and actively, and to help students learn more about themselves and build self-confidence.For a long time, due to the influence of the examination-oriented education, we generally use the terminative method to comment on pupils. This mode overemphasizes the terminative and selective function, which greatly contuses the students' studying go-aheadism and creativity, and greatly interferes in the actualization of the quality-oriented education deviating from the educational policy. To a certain extent, the traditional student-comment system in our primary education reflects the improper tendency and greatly restricts the improvement of the quality-oriented education, which has already become the serious disaster area of our basal education. Therefore, it is a pressing task to reform the comment and exam policy and to establish an expansive comment system, which is suitable for students' growing.In this thesis, I have adopted the documental method and case-studying method. On the basis of the introduction of the research on the student comment home and abroad, this thesis has discussed the meaning, character, principle and theoretical basis of the expansive student comment. And it has theoretically proved that it is necessary to carry out the expansive student comment to actualize the quality-oriented education and to advance the reform of the new course. According to the case that Anshan Shengli Primary School has actualized the expansive student comment, I have indicated some improving proposal. I hope it can offer some reference for expansive student comment.
