Comment and appraisement lessons are important part of mathematics teaching forhigh school. Relevant documents show low efficiency in comment and appraisementlessons which mainly manifested in high error repetition rate and passive learning.As traditional mode of comment and appraisement lessons does not meet students’actual demands, this paper performed questionnaire survey and data analysis of student’slearning information following the temporal order of class. This paper also made asystematic exposition of the teacher’s role and the student’s independently constructingability in comment and appraisement lessons, according to the theories as constructivistlearning theory, meta-cognition theory and discovery learning theory, etc. A new effectiveteaching mode based on independently constructing was presented in this paper, combinedwith teaching design cases which show great improvement in efficiency. With two yearsteaching practices, contrasted to the students’ learning effects, this new kind of teachingmode was proved to be available.
