"Over two thousand years ago, Socrates realized that people understand more by answering a question, than by being told an answer. Now, science has helped to explain reasons behind this counter-intuitive idea, and shown why it works so well. But, there is a problem with Socratic teaching: it works well only in small classes. " Without reference to the classes of any size, exercises, quiz or test in classroom which is the important part of classroom instruction processes is "not only the consequential feedbacks of classroom instruction (school meaning) but also the indispensably means of discriminating one's knowledge skill and intelligence development (society meaning)". The Classroom Instruction Processing System (CIPS) is an invention which ameliorates this problem and makes (forms of) Socratic teaching effective in classes of any size. The CIPS is a real-time information system that can automatic collection, process and analyze the information given by students using clickers and can make teacher entirely realize and master the current learning state of the whole class and the individual learner so as to adjust the teaching countermeasures and improve classroom instruction quality.Overseas, research on CIPS had begun as early as in 1960s. Presently, the similar CIPS has been used in some schools and the application impact is notable. Nevertheless, at home, research on CIPS begins in 1980s, and likely because of the immature hardware or other' s causes, the research has stagnated in recent years. By typing the keywords like classroom instruction processing system or classroom feedback system and so on in Google, the search result is disappointed and the correlative information is very little which mostly is theoretic and literal description.Nowadays, information technology which central parts are multimedia computer and network communication is highly developing. The classroom instruction still is the main position of base education in the current days even in the days to come. But it is true that the teaching quality in classes can't be ensured with the class size scale-up. Hence, it is necessary and feasible to research newly on the classroominstruction processing system that is a kind of CAI system. There are two kinds research projects: one is to authentically design and make a classroom instruction processing system based on the network environments; another is to analyze the similar systems in the literatures that is existed so as to find out some functional lack and to design and make a mathematic model and its arithmetic to ameliorate the function of the system. Considering the lack of time, resource and ability of self that the second project is adopted. This research is to analyze the similar systems in the literatures and bring forward a student learning quality evaluation model based on signal-to-noise which is based on the signal-to-noise idea of communication theory in order to ameliorate the function lack on evaluation. On the assumption that the system is existed and related data can be successfully collected by this system, the process and the validity of the model and its arithmetic is simulated and examined by simulated data with certain meaning. This research is the meaningful attempt to computer-aided classroom instruction. Expect that the attempt can bring a new way and a new pattern for intending base education and accelerate the transformation of base education from examining education to education for all-round.
