| Since reform and opening-up, with the development of education theory, ideological and political education has become a science gradually. The theory circle comes to examine the educational work of ideology and politics closely again in terms of science and discipline, which has improved the scientific level of ideological and political education, then realized the fundamental change of ideological and political education. But at the same time we can see the backwardness of adult's ideology and politics educational work in the university due to the particularity of adult education. And the study on adult's ideological and political education is very deficient in theory circle, and it can't provide very good theoretical support for adult's ideology and politics educational practice. In view of these aspects, I choose the theme of the Ideological and Political Education in Adult Education.The research idea of this paper is: proposing the problem- analyzing the problem-solving the problem, paying attention to combining the theoretical research with practical exploration. The full paper is divided into 5 parts:Beginning with the nature and characteristic of adult education, Chapter 1 introduces the general situation of adult education briefly, and then discusses the characteristics of adult's ideological and political education, the goal and principle of ideological and political education finally. By introducing the basic knowledge of adult's ideological and political education on the whole, this chapter gives the readers a rough understanding.Chapter 2 introduces the current situation of ideological and political education in the adult education. In this part we introduce the meaning and characteristic of ideological and political education in the adult education at first, secondly affirm the achievement obtained in ideological and political education in the adult education at present of our country, then analyze the existing problems of ideological and political education in the adult education of our country and their causes.Chapter 3 expounds the necessity and meaning of ideological and political education in the adult education. The educational work of ideology and politics has an important position, playing an irreplaceable role. The necessity and meaning of ideological and political education are objective and need to be understood and known constantly. The status of adult's ideological and political education status in adult education determines the necessity and great meaning to strengthen adult's ideological and political education.Chapter 4 is the focal point of the paper, discussing the content of adult's ideological and political education from five aspects: the ideal and faith, situation and policy, moral character, professional ethics, the psychological health. ?The chapter introduces the goal and content of ideological and political education in the adult education firstly. The goal of ideological and political education of the adult education can be divided into a total goal content and concrete specification demand, we carry on adult's ideological and political education in order to reach such a goal. And the content of ideological and political education is the specifying of educational objective of ideology and politics, it is a demand for quality in thought, politics, morals and psychology when we implement ideological and political education to adult students.Chapter 5 puts forward the methods and measures to strengthen and perfect the ideological and political education in adult education. There are four respects: changing the idea of adult's ideological and political education, exciting adult's student's own potentiality, strengthening the construction of ideology and politics educators, and improving the environment of adult's ideological and political education.
