A Study On The Scale Of Expanding Japanese Graduate Education

Japan is a country with a large number of institutions of higher education, but the graduateeducation is neglected. Whether the teaching quality or the education scale, the graduateeducation in Japan is lower than other developed countries. In order to develop graduateeducation, Japanese government pays more attention to enlarging graduate education scale,and expands purposely and gradually from all the aspects, such as graduate schools,institutions of social scientific research, nation and the world.Firstly, the Japanese government reforms the existing education system in graduateschool to diversify the graduate education by implementing the special system of selectingsocial personnel, extending the type of graduate school, improving the teaching environmentin graduate education and establishing elastic educational policy. Secondly, Japan reinforcesthe cooperation between graduate school and enterprise, and explores a new joint pattern incultivating graduate students. Thirdly, under the background of educational globalization,Japanese expand the graduate education into the world, actualizing the policy of indraughtand debouchment, making the graduate education anastomosis with international level. So notonly the graduate education level is promoted, but also the impact of Japanese graduateeducation in international community is enlarged. It is The experience and shortage inexpanding the scale of Japanese graduate education are summed up in this dissertation on thebasis of analyzing its historical track, background and tactic. So the enlightenment is used forreference to Chinese graduate education.
