The Current Foreign Students Education Scale

With the development of the world economic globalization and educational internationalization, the education for international students, as an important form of educational internationalization, has become one of the popular subjects in present higher education of the world. After we entered WTO, how to broaden our educational scale of international students to speed our educational internationalization is one of the important subjects we are facing. Based on the experience of the scale expansion of international students in western developed countries and the current situations of our education for international students, some suggestions are put forward in the scale expansion of international students' education in order to find some positive input for expanding international students education scale and improving the level of educational management of international students in China.Combining the theory study with on-the-spot study, the author uses some theories as the background. For example, "internationalization of higher education","international trade of higher education "and "soft power". In addition, the statistical method, comparative method, the method of literature and document are used in the article.The whole thesis consists of four parts. At the beginning, the author accounts for the reasons and purposes of selecting the title, analyzing the study situation about the subject in China and other nations, explaining the basic concepts etc. In the following, the development trend of postwar education for Internationalstudents and the concerned experience in Australia and Britain are studied with the theories of "soft power" and "international trade of higher education". The conclusion is made that educational development of international students is closely related with politics,economy and culture in the world.Although there is big difference in educational development of international students between western nations and China, it is possible to improve international students' education with developing our strengths and overcoming our weakness. In the third part, the current situations, significances, advantages and disadvantages of international students' education are revealed. In the end, some suggestions are put forward that we should not only expand the educational scale of international language students and international degree students, but also improve the concerned regulations and the system of Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools to carry out sustainable development of international students' education in China.
