With development of the Internet technology and perspectives on knowledge and learning,a new kind of mode------on-line teacher learning community ------that teachers can participatein is coming into being .The study of on-line teacher learning community aims to explorerhow the technologies and ideas supports teacher professional development (TPD),to providesuggestions and methods by which teachers develop in the Information Age,to provideacademic direction and reference of constructing on-line teacher learning community. Byusing qualitative methods, the researcher has investigated and analyzed some cases whodevelop successfully in on-line teacher learning community , the researcher has tried toconceive the structural model of on-line teacher learning community, the researcher thinksshared vision, trust, norm and network are the key factors which influence teacher learning inon-line teacher learning community. The study expounds how on-line teacher learningcommunity supports TPD in practice and theory respectively, the study puts forward theTPD's mechanism that the teachers advance the professional knowledge and ability in thecycle of "experience practically, observe and analyze ,generalize again ,prove actively" inon-line teacher learning community. the study tries to put forward the feasible suggestion ofconstructing on-line teacher learning community: constructing on line space and make clearthe topic;practicing the common issues and projects;developing the common guidelines andfoster comfortable learning environment .
