National education in Hong Kong primary and secondary schools is a kind of education which cultivate the students in Hong Kong "Chinese" identity and the sense of belonging to China. Initial success have been achieved since the HKSAR government implemented the National Education in accordance with the actual situation in Hong Kong primary and secondary schools in 1997. The success is inspirational significant to strengthen the ideological and political education in mainland schools under the condition of socialist market economy and the economic globalization. The article has made the enlightenment though the analyzing the comprehensive documentation of national education in Hong Kong schools, and through the comparison the differences between the national education in Hong Kong and the ideological and political education in the our mainland schools.The HKSAR government launched the national education in primary and secondary schools because of the long periods of colonial rule and colonial education, which made the people in Hong Kong, including the students lacking of the Chinese identity and the sense of belonging to China even after the return in 1997, which change not only Hong Kong's political status but also the people's political status. National education in Hong Kong primary and secondary schools is composed of ethnical identity education and state identity education, and have implemented in the introduction of the school-based, government-oriented and community - auxiliary. The education helps Hong Kong's students strengthen the identity of "Chinese" and then achieve the uniform of their awareness, emotion and behaviour. On the one hand, it is different from the ideological and political education in our mainland primary and secondary schools in the education philosophy, education subjects, education content and implementation ways. On the other hand, it hassome problem in the curriculum, teaching methods and the teacher force, we can be inspired in the ideological and political education in mainland schools with the enlightenment from Hong Kong: the education philosophy of student-first, the concept of system in the education content and the way of the infiltration in the education implementation. ,...
