Any age has its time spirit which matches the characteristic of the age. The spirit of this age is innovation.Innovative age needs such talented persons who have the ability to innovate. While the education of developing talented persons who have the innovative ability calls for innovation. The talented person is the result of education. The education should take developing people's innovative ability as purpose. In order to attain such purpose, the school education must be changed and innovated. The final target of education is to establish an innovative teaching system which can adapts to the innovative age. That is innovating of teaching mode.The theoretical foundation of innovative teaching mode is the theories about people's overall development in Marxism, Deng Xiaoping's theories, the education policy of the Party and the nation, the theories of creating.The innovating of the teaching mode comes from the change of the talented person's developing mode. Building up a mode which is used to develop people's innovative ability, we should start from the innovating of the teaching mode, then establish the idea and object of the innovative education. And then regarding this as the standard, the final target of the innovative teaching mode is realized.The innovative teaching mode comes from the reforms of the traditional teaching mode. The problem whether education could make the students raise issues efficiently and go into it, then form consciousness, habit and ability to solve the issue;whether education could make the students response to the challenge creatively which they never met before, is the emphasis to be solved by the innovative teaching mode.The achievement of the innovative teaching mode firstly needs such teachers who have innovative consciousness and innovative spirit. This type of teachers ought to have the creative ability themselves.Teachers should work hard to become the person who practice the innovative teaching mode and take on the dual mission of educating innovative talented person and developing innovative teaching mode.
