"The quantity is the educational heart"is written down in Global Supervisory Report of Entire Nation's Education 2005: Quantity Imperative released by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization). That means that the education quantity is not only the focus of the educational activity, but also the life of all the educational activity. In many factors that affect the educational quantity, teachers'quantity is a decisive factor beyond all doubt. The teachers'team with good quality of politics and profession, reasonable structure and relatively stable will be a major programme of lasting importance for the current educational reform and development.The teachers'proceeding education is a kind of educational form for the teachers'professional retraining. With the document material method, questionnaire method, and logical analysis method, this thesis analyzes the current structure and teaching level of the gym teachers'team in primary and middle schools of Changchun City, optimizes the mode of the gym teachers'proceeding education, and offers scientific decision-making basis for the work of the gym teachers'proceeding education.Research result shows:1. The middle school gym teachers'proceeding education, scholarship research and training mode still basically remain around the theory-describing level, and lack a complete, authoritative, and dependable research.2. For the middle school gym teachers in Changchun City, the whole structure tends young turn; the structure of academic degrees tends reasonable, but should be improved; the technical post's title structure is unreasonable.3. The gym teachers'total character belongs to the skill-initiating type. In the gymnastic teaching, the gym teachers generally attach importance to their athletic skill teaching ability and despise the study and cognition in the teaching foundational theories.4.
