Emotional teaching is a teaching method by which teachers take cognitive factors and emotional factors into account at the same time so as to perfect the goal of teaching and produce better results during the teaching process. This is the proper method that educators should adopt to instruct their pupils. Only in organizing activities guided by this method can cognitive and emotional factors be well integrated practically in teaching Emotional teaching serves to correct those mistakes made before when educators only concentrated on cognitive factors and neglected emotional factors. Therefore, emotional teaching emphasizes analyzing educational cases and putting forward relevant theories and methods through real teaching activities in which both emotional factors and cognitive factors are considered.So far there have been many research articles about emotional teaching published both home and abroad. Although research in this area dates long back, its application in teaching has not really taken shape. It is especially so in high school graduating classes since teachers are mostly pressured by the competition or better CEE results. Overloaded with such a pressure teachers, most often, forget about quality education and the appreciation of emotional teaching strategies is especially rare. In order to realize humanism and respect in teaching and preserve students interest in English learning in high school, teachers should endeavor to do research in the appreciation of emotional teaching model so that students can attain an all-round development .This paper, following emotional teaching principles, studying the situation of English teaching in high school graduating classes and the psychological characteristics of students, and through comparison of teaching experiment results, has done analysis about how to better apply emotional teaching strategies in junior school graduating classes.The results from experiments show that the application of graduating emotional teaching strategies has effectively improved teaching results and quality. Students'self-confidence and interest in learning have also been enhanced. They are more initiative to learn. It proves that this teaching method can eliminate anxiety in learning and create a harmonious and democratic learning atmosphere.
