Chinese research-based reading approach is to create a certain situation during te aching, aiming at arousing the students to make research into subjects and collect relat ed documents for reading materials, so that they can gain certain achievements and im prove their Chinese-learning. This reading approach has characters of exploration, par ticipation, process and openness.Brunna's Find teaching , Johnason's Build the doctrine of constructing , Cooperation in educating is Theory pillar.During the practice of the research-based reading approach, there exists abuse of expansion of research functions, enlargements of research subjects, freeness of the res earch process, game-like research methods, cuts and pastes of research results, simplif ication of subject-finalization, thus active interpositions must be taken with full attenti on and we must also develop the research value of text books, introduce research-base d approach into classes and consummate the standard of evaluation constantly to mak e emendations. The aims of Chinese research-based reading approach include abilities of collecting and dealing with information, developing students' innovation, training students to discover problems, and using related knowledge to solve them.The performance of research-based reading approach is quite different from the traditional one, the former stresses on forming the lesson by inducting the students to find problems on the basement of reading texts fully, conducting students to collect an d clear up related information, arguing for their own viewpoints with materials and ful fill the subjects colorfully. Teachers also play different roles from traditional ones as 1 earners, participants, investigators, as well as mentors and promoters with the latest ed ucational concepts.
