The Task-based language teaching(TBLT)approach emerged in the eighties of the20 th century.The core of the teaching method is "student-centered".Through the real or near-real task designed by the teacher,the students are doing and using the middle school.And through the interactive communication between students to acquire language,pay attention to the cultivation of students’ ability to use the language learned for real communication,improve students’ initiative and enthusiasm in learning language.At present,the teaching method has been widely used in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Under the traditional "teacher-centered" teaching model,after years of learning Chinese in Singapore,Jasmin Sports Club Education Center students in Singapore are still unable to express themselves confidently in Chinese,and their speech knowledge and language skills are not satisfactory.Lack of initiative and enthusiasm to learn Chinese.On the basis of reflecting on the differences and applicability of traditional teaching mode and task-based teaching model,the author investigates the characteristics of students,teachers and teaching methods in this teaching center,and finds that classroom teaching is monotonous in the teaching of Chinese comprehensive courses at present.The students’ enthusiasm for participating in language learning can not be fully mobilized,and the rules of language acquisition and the cultivation of their communicative competence by using language are also neglected.There is a real need for students to change the traditional teaching mode and improve their speech knowledge and communicative competence.Therefore,it is possible to apply the task-based teaching model to the teaching of Chinese comprehensive courses.In the process of designing and implementing the task-based teaching model,the individual differences of learning style and learning habits caused by Singapore bilingual education system and different language backgrounds are taken into account in the process of designing and implementing the task-based teaching model.After the implementation of the teaching model,the application of the teaching model and the effect of classroom implementation are analyzed by means of formative evaluation and fruitful evaluation,and it is found that the teaching mode not only promotes the effect of teaching and learning of Chinese integrated classes,but also promotes the teaching and learning of Chinese language.The language knowledge and language skills of the students have been improved to some extent,and the initiative and enthusiasm of the students to learn Chinese have been mobilized,which has greatly stimulated the students’ interest in learning Chinese.It can be seen that the task-based teaching model is effective in the teaching of the integrated Chinese class in the fifth grade of the primary school in this teaching center.
