"The three dimension goals" is the abbreviated form of the objectives of "knowledge and skill, process and methods, feeling attitude and value" of the curriculum standards presented in the new curriculum reform. It deals with stressing excessively in cultivating knowledge and skill but ignoring process and method, feeling attitude and value of student's achievement in traditional curriculum objectives. In this study, the researcher took cooperative study way to do action research by organizing an action research team with two primary school teachers. We try to solve the problem raised by action research partners, which is how to design and implement the three dimension goals in primary Chinese teaching and to explore an effective approach to design and implement the three dimension goals in teaching. Furthermore we want to promote the partners' professional self-reflection and growth by experiencing how to do action research.There are six parts in this thesis. The first part is an introduction, which introduces the EU-China Gansu Basic Education Project is how to support and promote this study. The second part is put forward the problem. It describes the process to look for my action research partners and why the problem comes and how to confirm it. The third part is about the basic thoughts and method for my study. Its purpose is to clarify how to do the action research of us. The next part is induces the relevant domestic and international researches which contributes to our research and inspects some problem in them. The action research journey is the important part of my thesis. In this part, the researchers make the conception rebuilding of knowledge, process and value in class teaching as the theoretical foundation. The process of designing and implementing the three dimension goals is the clue of writing the thesis. The researchers present the practicability strategies of action research after the knowledge preparation and the survey of presentation on the problem. We regard the class teaching of two partners as the research target. We also divide the research stage into three parts as designing before the class, implementing in the class and reflecting after the class. We hope to help the partners transfer curriculum goals to teaching goals in order to solve their puzzle. The study tracks the idea which is putting forward problem and analyzing problem and making strategies and practicing strategies and assessment. During the cooperative study for one year, we find that the core of designing and implementing the three dimension goals is conformity of the goals structure. The researchers explicate the principals on how to designing and implementing the three dimension goals likewise. We also try to make assessment and check to the teaching after implementing the three dimension goals. By this study designing, we solve the problem of the action research partners at some extent and improve their teaching lives to promote their professional development.
