The agricultural questions be consisted of the countryside, the agriculture and the farmer question , that already became hot spots of society. This question have influenced the social stability, the strategic adjustment of economic structure, the fast healthy development of the national economy as well as the achievement of the comprehensive construction well-off society. But if you want to solve the agricultural problems, the education is the key.From some kind of significance we can said that the rural education has decided the national future. However, rural education of our country has many problems, and the question of elementary and middle school students drained from school is especially to be serious. This article attempts through the field survey of the present situation to the countryward child in Tonghua area to analyze the question which the elementary and middle school students discontinue their studyings in countryside. And have given some suggestions from the view of the governmental administration to betterly solve these questions.This paper contains three parts. The first part mainly introduced the present situation which the countryward elementary and middle school students can't contiue their studyings. Through analysis of the questionnaire, we can see the rural education to have following several kinds of the phenomenon for discontinue studies:First, from the villagers'replies to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th questions , we can gained this conclusion : in principle, if parents'educational level is low, the rate of discontinuing studies of their children's is high, about 80%.Second, from the villagers'replies to the 6th, 8th questions , may see, it's universal existence that the girl is discriminated, and the rate of discontinuing studies of girl is higher than the rate of the boy.Third, from the villagers'replies to the 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th questions , may see, the primary factor which affects the countryward child being out of school is the economical factor, and the majority of children because of the economical factor are out of school.Fourth, through the 13th question we can gained that, majority of farmers earnestly hope to implement the policy of free compulsory education and change educational content.And we may clearly see that, the main problem about the rate of discontinuing studies of students existing in rural education is : rural economic...
