There has not been stopping the research of applying the positiveeducational value of games to curriculum design in order to attract students'attention, to stimulate students' learning interest, and to promote the validity ofteaching.Theinitialprototypeshaveformedatthebeginningof80'slastcentury,which are more about TV games. The educational value of computer games isrevealed gradually with the development of computer and network technology, but less can be applied to the education in deed, because the computer gameitself is not the education. In the fundamental research and practical application, researchers find out that although computer games played a certain role inteaching, it has not achieved the anticipated effect, even caused somemisunderstandings. Therefore, the deep thinking and research on its applicationfield, form, method and seriousness in education has important academic valueandpracticalsignificance. There are values to use computer games for reference in many aspects ofconstructing the virtual learning environment. Game elements are thecomponents of games and they also determine the character of games.Integrating these elements to the design of simulating experiment under theguidance of simulation theory can construct a simulating space for networkexperiment, in which learners can be fully free to explore the knowledge, tocarry on experiments anytime and anywhere with the feeling of game-like. Thepurpose of learning through playing comes true in deed. It involves so manyaspects of questions in the course of using computer games to construct asimulating space. Theoretically discussions on these questions include why andhow to apply game elements, how to integrate the elements to networkexperiments, the principles, processes and techniques that can be used in thesimulating space. The answers to these questions are also the proof to supportthetheoreticalviewpoint. The thesis discusses the reason, the aim and the main method of the...
