Mathematics education is a special activity promoting the all-round development of the individual in the mathematics interaction. While evaluation of mathematics education is a special evaluation activity aimed to ensure the smooth going of the instruction and promote the harmonious development of individuals. Evaluation has very important pole in the process of the instrution, and has orientation influence in the instruction practice. Several questions are found in the traditional mathematics curriculum evaluation:(1)attach great importance to the evaluation of basic knowledge and basic skills, emotions and attitudes;(2)attach great importance to the standardized written exams, but underestimate the multi-dimensional evaluation.Countering the excessively unitary evaluation mode, the curriculum reform of compulsory education put forward that the evaluation mode should adopt many optimistic and multivariate methods, such as observation, interview, investigation, work show, report of project action, and that we not only rely on the outcome of the exam, but also pay close attention rely on the pupil's present situation, potentiality and development tendency .The new evaluation modes emphasize manipulation, and the evaluation targets strive to be compendious, and are easily used by the front-line mathematics teachers. Combining the evaluation conviction of the new curriculum, this article constructs the system of the pluralistic evaluation design for mathematics learning in primary school. I wish it could embody the spirit and requirement of the times and it could present a set of complete system of evaluation design.This paper brings up 5 parts to build such a new evaluation system, they are:(1) Introduction. At first, it summarizes the long-standing mistaken ideas of the standardized written exams and the questions of the mathematics education evaluation in our country's primary schools. After that, I advance the research objective and research meaning through the result analyze of the questionnaires (attached table I). Secondly, I propose the necessity of constructing the system of the pluralistic evaluation design by the comprehension to the evaluation concept and demand of the new curriculum.(2) The condition of the mathematics learning evaluation design in the domestic and foreign primary schools.
