Problem consciousness is very significant to the creative society, to the students'development in the future and to the new curriculum reform. Training the students'chemical problem consciousness is the foundation of training creative consciousness. At the same time, it is the linchpin to change the students'learning mode and promote the new chemical curriculum reform to a high place. Recently more and more researchers pay attention to the research of problem consciousness, but most of research on problem consciousness is based on the level of experience or the stage of pure theories research. Systemic analysis and deep research is lack to the basic questions such as what is problem consciousness on earth , what main factors problem consciousness includes, how to measure the level of problem consciousness, strong or weak ?what factors affect the students'problem consciousness on earth?So this thesis presents our conception of problem consciousness by many sorts of basic research combining with chemistry, combining with the latest research of thinking. By the analysis on systematic literature review and on the function of problem consciousness in discovering and raising problems, we conclude that problem consciousness comprises four factors. We also present a questionnaire of problem consciousness by which we confirm the factors that affect problem consciousness in the view of correlation and system theory.1. Currently, the chemistry problem consciousness of the students in senior high school of our city is on the average level. The factors of chemistry problem consciousness of students in senior high school are Unbalanced. The impulsion level and the governing system level of these factors are above the average level, but cognition is on the lower level, especially the ability of discovering and bringing forward questions. On the other hand, the sub—system level is unbalanced too. About the impulsion factor, in the curiosity, the main difference is in"enjoying thinking"and"Sensitivity to the problems"; In the desire of inquiry, the main difference is in the perseverance of inquiry activity; In the criticism factor, The main difference is in criticism skill.
