The Research On The Teaching Of Internet-based English Reading In The Senior High School

With the development of computer science, the Internet is having a greater effect on our study and life. Being surprised at the plentiful resources on the Internet, People are thinking over a way of applying them into the education. Many educators have found the Internet' s great potential in expanding the students' knowledge and creating an authentic learning environment. Meanwhile, the Internet is also changing the teaching and learning way of foreign language. Many teachers are merging the Internet into English speaking, listening, reading and writing in order to compensate for the paper-based teaching resources.In China, with the popularity of computer knowledge in primary and secondary schools, more and more students are getting hold of the computer-operating skills. In some economically advanced provinces, a large number of schools have established the school net which is available to all the students. All these provide a sound foundation for the combination of Internet and English learning.In the thesis, I try to combine the Internet with English reading in the senior high school. I am focusing on the key features of the Internet' s application in instruction content, learning approaches, the establishment of language environment and teaching approaches , trying to find the best way of combining the Internet with English reading.The thesis consists of five parts: â… .
