After the 1980s,Japan became the second economic and technological big country in the world, and then there was no ready-made pattern learned. Japan must look for the new road that Japan may remain its powerful position on economics, culture and technology, because its narrow land, poor resource and numerous population. The challenge need to change the traditional values of Japan, and it was necessary that many talent which had human nature and conceptual ability, creative and original ability, ability of finding and solving problem, organized ability were trained. Under the background, the composite learning of every subject was brought forward, especially mathematics composite learning.The mathematics composite learning is that students comprehensively make use of mathematics knowledge or mathematics knowledge and others knowledge to solve practice problems under teacher's guidance. The mathematics composite learning is the important supplement for the traditional mathematics teaching, and it is favor of students to have automatic study, strengthen their learning interest, develop their cooperation consciousness, etc.In the thesis, I briefly introduce the background, under which the mathematics composite learning was brought forward in Japan, and then elaborate the meaning, characters and practice strategy of mathematics composite learning. At present, the mathematics composite learning is advocated too in China. Compare with Japan, there are many same and different things. At last, I point out what teachers need to do during the mathematics composite learning.
