In 1999, the promulgated"Resolutions on the Deepening of the Reform in Education and Providing an Education with all-round Development in all Schools and Higher-learning Institutions"stipulates that"cultivating high-caliber teaching staff is primary to providing an education with all-round development in all schools and higher-learning institutions. The priority is given to the cultivation of the competence and academic level of teaching staff so that an education in all-around development can be conducted; improve and reform teacher education."In the same year, the third session of"National Education Conference"was convened and since then the permission has been given to the non-teacher's colleges'participation in teaching training and education, which has broken the traditional and closed education system and brought it onto the way of diversified teacher trainings. Hundreds of years of the development of teacher education now is embracing its chance of development as well as challenges.Based on the stipulations promulgated in 2004, by the national education ministry ----"Measures on the Assessment of the Undergraduate Instruction", through on-the-spot investigations, in this thesis, the author studies the current school management guidelines of the PE colleges in teacher training higher-institutions in Xinjiang, teaching administration, the status quo of faculty, school facilities, specialty constructions, curriculum, major and course development with its own characteristics, students'learning atmosphere, field work and employment. From the study, it can be concluded that the age structure of the faculty is reasonable; faculty members with high academic degrees are deficient; the sources of students are simplistic; curriculum, though reasonable, needs further enhancement; the development and application of the colorful sports events of ethnic groups are still lagging behind; inter-institution connections are lacking; teachers, especially the young teachers'on-job training should be strengthened; certain degree of dissatisfactions has been shown from the teaching staff about the salaries, working conditions and qualification assessment, and hence brings negative effects on the initiative and the sense...
