The problem behaviors have always been a focus in our society, and also a difficult problem to deal with for the people in education circle. It has even more out-stood in rural area in recent years. The problem behaviors affect seriously the students' psychological health, forming of moral character and the becoming of useful person, and even break the social safety.There are many elements which cause the problem behaviors. I divide them into four aspects: family, student, society and school, but family is the most important one among them all. After 20 years' study in this field and a lot of problem behaviors correcting practices I have worked out an essential view: The main cause of the problem behaviors is from family, and the original reason from parents.I have analyzed the relationship between the problem behaviors and the family composition, family members, parental quality, parental educational idea and nurturing method of family adopting questionnaire, investigation documents and typical cases according to the current situation in hilly land schools such as Yong'an Middle School ,Gongxin Middle School and Huanglongxi Middle School, and advanced the measure for family to prevent problem behaviors, so as to basically ensure the forming of good family environment and the acting of family education...
