| Content: Today, under the reform of going deep into the basic education course, the historical pictures, as the important forming part of historical resourses, are not only the important course resources in the history teaching and learning of Senior Middle School, but also have become the important carrier of history evaluation and examination of Senior High School students. Generally speaking, the articles specially talking about the historical pictures are not very sufficient,The existed study results have not taken the students'collection of historical pictures and the cultivation of analysis competence as the study target and have not referred to how to apply the historical pictures beyond the teaching materials into classroom,basically the study stands on the angle of "teaching"of teachers but not from the angle of "learning"of the students.It plays emphasis up on the pictures'function but not explore how to get the students' to read and analyse the historical pictures initially and it focuses on examining the pictures'analysis but not on the study of how to cultivate the students'reading and analysis abilities in the process of teaching and learning, Therefore, under the guidence of the new course concept, it really has the pratical significance to explore and practise the historical pictures'collection of the students and the cultivation of the reading and analysis competence. The pictures'collection and the cultivation of the analysis competence is a kind of systems engineering.
