Environment Analysis And Countermeasures On The Internationalization Of Higher Education In Jiangsu Province

Higher education in Jiangsu Province has developed rapidly in recent years and begun to carry out the internationalization policy. Now it is necessary to know more about the inner and outer environment of higher education in Jiangsu so that we can work out more effective countermeasures to improve the international level of it.The environment of higher education internationalization in Jiangsu Province consists of general outer environment, environment of competition within the industry, and the inner environment. The general outer environment factors include political, economical, social, technological and natural factors, which provide both opportunities and threats to the internationalization of higher education. At the same time, Jiangsu Province has to face the strong competitions from internal and foreign competitors, while inner environment factors will be divided into strengths and weaknesses in this thesis.In the face of the opportunities, threads, strengths and weaknesses, Jiangsu higher education institutions must work out positive countermeasures. For instance, organize more experts to study in this field; ameliorate laws and regulations; adjust the curriculum and teaching methods; foster students' capability of intercultural communication; modernize the teaching methods and facilities with modern science and technology; highlight the strong points of higher education in Jiangsu Province; and reform the internal system of higher education by the international standard. In short, efforts should be made to achieve the goal of the internationalization of higher education in Jiangsu Province.
