Abstract: Knowing the history of Chinese education abstractly and dialectically contributes to the reform of the middle school Chinese teaching. After china reform and opens to the world, there are some outstanding educational experts such as Wei shusheng and Ning hongbin in the Chinese-teaching field. Their ideas and practice, which reflect the character of the time, have common ground but different. On the other hand, with the development of the society, their ideas and practice become delayed. In order to develop their advantages and abandon disadvantages, the article written to make research into the following four aspects: first, the efficiency of Chinese teaching; second, the democracy of education ideas; third, reading-teaching model; fourth, the ideas of oral composition teaching, so that we can serve the Chinese curriculum reform.
