Action research is on junior high biology teaching by using social hot topics.This research belongs to the science - technology - society (STS) education. Along with the development of society, the STS education content, the method and the form are changing.It points the way in action research on junior high biology teaching by using social hot topics . Through this research, I made every effort in the teaching to realize three different goals of education,including the knowledge, the ability, the emotion manner.This article is based on the junior high biology teaching, elaborated the fundamental research on junior high biology teaching using social hot topics in epistemology, educational psychology and so on,proposing the teaching principle in practice.In fact, the action research is the teaching way,and the cyclic process in practice, including the plan, the motion, observation and reconsideration. Through the action research on social topics in the existing curriculum, it is proposed in the content looking for combining site on social knowledge and the biology knowledge, choosing the teaching method with "the science and technology" or "the society"as core, paying attention to the classroom instruction and the extracurricular activity in the organization form.In the classroom instruction uses the teaching organization form which the logical deduction, the logical induction, the practice unifies. To some degree.I have realized three goals of education, the knowledge, the ability, the emotion manner in my junior high biology teaching. The students has been able to study the biology knowledge on social topics and utilizate biology knowledge to solve.They have also made own judgment and the decision-making to social topics, formed the correct value orientation and the certain social sense of responsibility. In brief action research on junior high biology teaching using social hot topics is feasible.It causes the existing curriculum teaching advanced with times, to adapt the development of society.
