Research On The Contents Compiling Of The Textbooks Under The Ideas Of New Geography Curriculum Reform

New geography curriculum reform conforms to the trend of worldwide curriculum reform,meanwhile, caters to the need of national education-qualified reform. With the rapid development of politics,economy and societies in the world, challenged with a lot of new problems and undertakings, Geography education is promoted to develop and produces some new educational ideas. For example ,"geography for life","environmental consciousness","sustainable development", and so on. Through drawing on the international experience of geography curriculum reform and according to our country's actual situation, the fundamental ideas of geography curriculum reform of our country are put forward:"studying geography useful to life","studying geography useful to lifelong development","changing geography studying style","building open geography curriculum","building geography curriculum based on modern information technique","establishing evaluation mechanism attaching importance to both studying result and process".This paper mainly researches into the contents compiling of the textbooks under the geography ideas of new curriculum reform. The study is carried out according to some ideas about curriculum reform of basic education, directed by modern curriculum theories, instruction theories, textbook theories and some relevant subject theories, preliminarily discusses such textbooks contents compiling as geography useful in life,geography useful to life-time development, inquiry activities, area geography and so on. Then, takes the geography experimental textbooks published with people's education publishing house (PEPH) for example, analyzes its embodiment degree to new fundamental ideas of geography curriculum standard and its train of thought in the contents compiling.
