Abstract With the increasingly thorough progress of curriculum reform, the center of educational research has been converted from the fields of teaching and curriculum to field of teachers. Researches show that the theoretical studies of teacher education mainly are about constructive studies of theories that should be right and the method of studying this kind of theory is just a theoretical hypothesis because it aims at satisfying teachers' requests that should be there and it's argumentation is speculated. However, it is teachers' real life that we should concern with. Therefore, the topic of the thesis is stepping into the "area" of teachers' life to listen to and concern with what teachers think of and to experience their real life and passion.Using the method of qualitative case study, the author chooses Mr. X in T high school as subject and adopts the technique of narration in order to give a picture of teachers' working life under curriculum reform.The study unfolds teachers' working life from two aspects: one begins with the growing experience of person studied and deeply describes the situation of teachers trying for survival and development when facing many difficulties, which includes twophases------trying for survival and seeking for development due to unsatisfactory status;the other is trying to indicate the teacher's teaching practice and theory in details and between lines through actual reproduce of classroom observation. Although there are no significant theories and elaborated forms and data, we can feel the existence of "humanity" and see the root of teachers' ideas.Through field observation and interview, the author believes that there are contradictions between "obvious system" and "hidden rules" in school and teachers lack of specialty decision-making power; as to teachers, they have not realized their functions in their own development; finally, society as the ultimate guider of public voice has become a stumbling block of teachers' development.Based on the problems above, the thesis puts forward explanation and construction from three aspects.1.
