From the perspective of dichotomy of science, subject ascription of pedagogics brings about a lot of limits that appears in the process of educational research when dealing with object of research and adoption of research paradigm, etc. For example, educational researchers adopt the positivism paradigm to research instead of attaching importance to the value and significance of object of research, etc.Owning to limits of scientism methodology in application, new understanding of the importance of logos in humanistic structures, and the development of philosophy, it is imperative for us to adopt the trichotomy of science for the knowledge system, which is divided into natural science, human science and social science.From the perspective of trichotomy of science, there exist various disputes concerning object of social science and human science study and their research paradigms. Thus it is necessary for us to distinguish social science and human science. We have to consider not only different objects of study, but also different subjects and visual angle of study as well. Social science takes social phenomenon for the object of study, which is objective "existence" beyond research subjects. The object of human science study is the human world, it is a significant and valuable world based on human's internal spirit and cultural tradition. it possesses subjective, valuable and understandable qualities.From the perspective of trichotomy of science, there exist the following views concerning subject ascription of pedagogics in academic circles: pedagogics belongs to human science, or pedagogics is part of social science, or pedagogics is a synthetical discipline, etc. That origin from educational researchers' different views...
