There are many minorities in our country and the differnces between regions are so clear. The curricula in minority schools are unified to a degree, and the contents of them are filled with cuture of han nation without considering minority cultures. Education should concern about the specific life experience of minority students and the cultural characteristics of minority regions. It's necessary to give minority students adapatable teaching besides the common teaching. The intergrated practical activity curriculum is one of the ways to satisfy the new needs of minority education.After investigating and analyzing the exploitation of intergrated practical activity curriculum in the autonomous county of tujia and miao minorities of Youyang, the author found that the curriculum is in a dilemma. At one hand, the education administrators and teachers in Youyang thought that the curriculum deserveed to be exploited carefully. On the other hand, the exploitation of the curriculum is disordered in most schools. The main reasons of the embarrassed situation are: weakness of the exploitation theories; lack of the exploitation experience and abilities; short of exploitation process and models according with the real situation of minority regions.In order to solve these problems and exploit the intergrated practical activity curriculum well in Youyang, the author investigated the geographic, historical and cultural environment of Youyang and categorized the available curriculum resources...
