The thesis is the fruit of staged research having been done with a big qualified education background which has been actively furthering the guidance of creative spirit, and focusing on practical ability. It is an initial research report on the feasibility topic of putting integrative practical activity curriculum into effect in secondary school and elementary school in the rural area. Developing integrative practical activity in the rural area is put forward because of the real situation on rigid teaching and unchangeable learning in the classroom. The aim of the article is to motivate the reformation of teaching and learning through developing integrative practical activity curriculum in the poverty-stricken area, so that the quality and the efficiency of the classroom teaching and learning can be greatly improved in the area.Action research is an efficient way for a teacher to attain his professional aim and professional practice ability. The research mainly adopts the method of action research. Through making integrative practical activity with the cooperating teachers, the research wiil achieve its goal to discover and deal with the problems existing in education practice, and, besides, to better the teachers' professional practical ability, finally to motivate the students to alter their learning ideas and styles.The conclusion of the research is the following:1.Integrative practical activity not only does have the value of being popularized in the poverty-stricken area, but also has obtained the general understanding and support from the community, the parents and the social, etc..2.Carryign out integrative practical activity in the pverty-stricken area can not only change the teachers' teaching conceptions, but also change the students' learning ideas and styles, so that the quality and efficiency in classroom instruction can be improved.3.Carrying out integrative practical activity can not only widen the range of knowledge of the students, enhance their environmental awareness and social service awareness, foster their learning interest, but also strengthen their awareness and competence for expression, writing, exchange and making good use of all the materials, and what is more, it can also promote their experiences in self, the nature and the social. 4.Teacher training is the core of efficiently canying out integrative practical activity. Therefore to fulfill varied teacher trainings must be paid much attention to by the local education and administrative authority and school.
