The paper attempts to make a linguistic study on teaching language in view of hypertext. Two approaches are employed: one is to study the change in class text structure originated by new class teaching idea, the other is to analyze the text structure on the basis of the present research in this field. The paper analyzes class teaching in the frame of hypertext. Teacher, students, blackboard writing, textbooks and logic are all analyzed as the hypertext discourses. It is hoped that this research on class teaching language from the perspective of hypertext will supply new ideas and scientific evaluation criterion for other researches in this field.Directed by the theory of hypertext, class discourses are reconsidered by applying the concepts of non-linear and linkage. The structure of linkage in the text has been revealed after the analysis of the real corpora and the profound and systematic research on the characteristics of hypertext discourse structure. Thus a newmethod-----linkage structure analysis has been provided and it is hoped that it willgive implications for class teaching. With the combination of the law of the discourse itself and its application in teaching, this thesis provides a new method and it is hoped that implications will be given for class teaching. The concepts of main line, linkage, non-linear, refinement and godown are proposed in this thesis and the cognitive characteristics, form markers of language, types, the process of psychology, mechanism of production and function of the linkage structure in the hypertext have been systematically explored in this research. The paper includes seven parts: part one is preface; part two is the discussion of the relationship between new class teaching ideas and class discourse textual structure, especially the demonstration of the effect new teaching ideas have on class language, text structure and the result of the open text; part three is the establishment of theories and expression of hypertext cognition, analysis and types; part four is the description of the core of hypertext ---- linkage structure, language form, psychological process and class text; part five is the discussion of the function of linkage structure in teaching; part six is the contrastive analysis of teaching cases; part seven is conclusion.
