With the development of economy and science, the frequency of job adjustment is quicker and quicker. Therefore, people focus on the professional identity recently. I use interview as the method, and use situational analysis to analyze the text in order to present the relationship between professional identity and learning.The thesis has five chapters.Chapter one. This part introduces the process of the selection of theme, and defines the concepts of professional identity and learning, and introduces the study method, how to find the interviewees, and analyzes the content of the interview.Chapter two, three and four are respectively Jenny's story, Hellena's story and Rose's story. Each chapter has four parts. The first part is the simple introduction of the interviewee. The second part is the analysis of the key events of the text. The third part is the reconstruction of the story. The last part is the discussion of the relationship of professional identity and learning.Chapter five. This part is the discussion. In this part, I discuss the evaluation of qualitative study, and some points, which can be studied in the future.Findings: from the individuals' interview texts, we find that learning influences individual's professional identity through their job. Learning can contribute to the development of one's work, and the development of work can enhance one's professional identity. Therefore, the enhanced professional identity of one's job can stimulate individuals to develop their job, and the demand to learn take place with the developed job in order to meet the requirement of the new task.
