As China's social and industrial development enters a new period,secondary vocational education plays a unique role in the entire national education system.Secondary vocational students,as the mainstay of the reserve army of skilled personnel,the development of their professional ability and thought should be paid attention to.Among them,the most direct correlation with the professional ability is their degree of professional identity and learning engagement.Secondary vocational students are still in the key stage of laying the theoretical foundation,exercising skills,establishing professional values and cultivating professional and professional qualities.The degree of recognition,value judgment and active learning of their major not only affect their academic performance in school,but also affect their future professional and professional career development,which is more related to their future development in the post and satisfaction in the development process.These are also important factors to ensure the quality of secondary vocational education.This paper divides professional identity into six dimensions: professional cognition,professional emotion,professional will,professional value,professional skill and professional emotion.Learning engagement is divided into three dimensions: cognitive engagement,emotional engagement and behavioral engagement.A total of 440 secondary vocational students from 4 secondary vocational schools in Jinhua and Ningbo are selected as the research objects.The literature method,questionnaire method and interview method are adopted,and the overall and difference analysis,as well as the regression analysis of professional identity and learning involvement are carried out respectively.The results show that professional skills have the strongest positive impact on overall learning engagement,cognitive engagement and behavioral engagement,among which the more skilled vocational students are in their professional skills,the higher their level of learning engagement.From the point of view of improving professional identity,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for improving the learning input of secondary vocational students.In terms of professional cognition,schools should strengthen professional cognition education.For students in the first grade,emotional education should be given priority to.For students in the second grade,professional competence should be enhanced.For senior three students,the school will increase the popularity of employment information;In the aspect of professional emotion,schools should reform teaching materials and teaching methods constantly,and stimulate students' interest in learning with various teaching methods and appropriate teaching materials.In terms of professional skills,the school should optimize the curriculum setting of professional practice to ensure the development of vocational students' skills.In terms of professional value,secondary vocational students should be guided to reasonably plan their career so that secondary vocational students have a clear positioning of themselves and the direction of employment;On the professional aspect,the school continuously strengthens the vocational values education in order to make the students become the reserve army of Chinese craftsmen.In the professional aspect,schools should actively publicize the results of the development of vocational education,improve the social status of vocational education to enhance the confidence of secondary vocational students in the development of professional prospects.
