With the arrival of globalization era, the communications of plural culture all over the world are increasingly frequent. In order to gear to this request, many countries come to cultivate citizens with multicultural consciousness and quality.It is well known that china is a nation with various kinds of people and culture, which has a long history. The globalization era and the distinctive region characteristic put forward urgent demand to citizen's education. This study thinks that the implement of citizen's education curricula reflecting the characteristic and the need of age has profoundly theoretical and practical meaning to our country's long stability and development through cultivating qualified citizens who can adapt to the multicultural environment against the background of globalization. Based on above reasons, this research regards our nation's new primary educational reform course----elementary social curricula as course carriers, analyzing and respecting the practice of the social curricula through deep analysis to the textbook on social study and the survey to two elementary school's classroom instruction of social study in Tian shan area, which is in Xinjiang multi-national compact community. Through analysis and survey, this study thinks the implement of citizen's education curricula is inadequate in reflecting the characteristic of multi-culture and using it to cultivate qualified citizens. So this thesis will pose some suggestions on the base of analysis and narrate from the construction of school knowledge, the compilation of the textbook on social studies, the content of social study teaching to the means and the curriculum resources so that enriching the theory and the practice of citizen's education. This thesis includes flowing sections: First, this section mainly expounds the background, the goal, the meaning, the thinking and the way of research. Besides, this section will card-index related theories.Second, the citizen's education and social curricula against the background of globalization. This section mainly clarify several related conceptions and the connection of them, such as citizen, citizen's education and social curricula. At the same time, the analysis and narrate of the characteristic of citizen's education curriculum also is concluded.Third, the realistic scan to citizen's education curricula----social curricula against the background of globalization. This section mainly observe that the implement of our nation's citizen's education curricula whether take advantage of the multicultural resource to enrich the course so that cultivating the citizens who adapt to multicultural age efficiently according to analyzing the textbook...
