Research On How To Turn Over Enterpise-managed Schools To The Local Governments

Content: That the enterprises manage the elementary and middle schools has the very long history in China. , Especially since The People's Republic of China was founded, as we practised the planned economic system,under the background of "To manage the big education in a poor country" and with the fast development of our country,these schoos have obtained great improvement.Dexing Copper Mine Middle School was established in August, 1996, simply including three junior classes.By far,with the effort of nearly 40 years ,it has developed into the largest and best school of Jiangxi Copper Corperation and therefore trained large quantities of workers of high qualities.for the corperation itself,helping provide the workers'children with a good chance to study further or gain empoyment,which ensure the workers to be loyal to their positons.While with the reforms of China's economic system being carried on steadily and for the continuous growth of the state-owned enterprises, the State Counsil and provincial governments have determined to separate those schools from the enterprises.By the year 2003 all the schools but those in Dexing Copper Mine ,which belongs to Jiangxi Copper Corperation have been successfully turned over to the local governments, so Dexing Copper Mine Middle School has got to face up to such a difficult situation,making slow progress.With a view to researching on the turning-over,the author,as a child of the working staff and also a teacher in the school,make full use of network resources,newspapers,magazines,academic periodicals,and all related documents and policies from the government,by surfing the internent and visiting the archives.And having Dexing Copper Mine Middle School as a case, the author adopts the methods of inspection,interview,investigation and case study as his research pattern,so as to look at the problem all-sidedly.The main parts of research are as follows:(I).Looking back on the history of enterprises managing schools as well as the causes of separating shools from enterprises and the difficulties involved;(2) The problems with...
